SHADOWS SUN x DRUMBOXING

A few weeks ago, we had the honor of co-hosting our first-ever Shadows Sun experience with DRUMBOXING in Malibu, CA. At Shadows Sun, our unconditional focus is to Move Freely, both physically and mentally. Expanding your mind in unconventional ways and allowing yourself to experience deep liberation is the future of Shadows Sun. As we collaborated with DRUMBOXING, we experienced exactly this — a new way of thinking and dropping into a flow state.

Located in Country Mart Malibu, DRUMBOXING's studio comprises of bespoke bags, surrounded by portable, custom-made drums.

During class — John, co-founder — lead us through a series of progressive movements matched with composed Afro-cuban beats, all while stimulating different parts of the brain and body. This lead all of us to a flow state.

As the sun set and DRUMBOXING concluded, guests were able to preview the newly launched mens line, accompanied by the womens tees. 

Nibbles were graciously presented by Melissa Duffy, crudités (left) and Taka Table, plant-dyed empanadas (right).
